Location Planning
Location Planning
Our Location would be the Doha Desert, we chose this location as it links with the entire film idea my group came up with, which is cars and violence such as the Hollywood Blockbuster Mad Max Fury Road.
The desert itself is a very isolated and desolate place which also links with the movie idea. In Mad Max the location is the desert which has been chosen not only to compliment the sick Mad Max Idea but to emphasise the cars and isolation.
The desert will also help us as there are no distracting backgrounds like in a city so the viewer can focus more on what is actually happening in the scene and not what is actually happening.
Below is the Exact location of where we will be shooting...

BBFC Ratings
After a group discussion with Jack, Pablo and Nikita, we have concluded that the film opening meets the BBFC criteria for "15 - Suitable only for 15 years over" based on the latest BBFC
Classification Guidelines (2014)
This is based on 8 different components which I will elaborate on below:
- Discrimination: There will be no discriminatory language, themes or behaviour of any sorts explicitly or implicitly depicted or endorsed in our film opening.
- Drugs: Our film opening will not encourage or promote drug misuse. There will be no displays of drugs aside from a character smoking a cigar/cigarette.
- Imitable behaviour: There will be dangerous behaviour involved including jumping and the wielding of katanas but this will not be lingered on.
- Language: There will be very little to no strong language used in our film opening.
- Nudity: There will be no nudity displayed in our film opening.
- Sex: There will be no sexual activity portrayed or referenced in our film opening.
- Threat: There will be no focus on sadistic, sexual or psychological threats of any sorts in our film opening.
- Violence: There will be strong violence displayed in our film opening including cuts, injuries and general infliction of pain but this will not be dwelled on. No strong gory images or sadistic violence will be depicted.

Film Title Analysis
Film Title Analysis
First of all I made the title without any perspective editing on Photoshop using a bold font and a sand coloured texture over the top. The I edited the it even more on Photoshop to add a perspective to the title so it was not a fact on view.
Film Title Idea, My main intention is to replicate this idea, a vehicle drives past and the text magically appears from behind it. When me and my group go shooting we will fix an additional scene for the title, which will be similar to this one.

2nd attempt at Production company
After the group looked at my first attempt at the production company LOGO design. We all decided that it was too complicated after i added the moving effects of the neon title flickering on and off. I went on a search and found a basic design that looked good. Which is Below
We Then decided as a group to call our Production Company Sand Haus so i edited it on photoshop and created this

This Looked Boring so i decided to add some flare to it
The Group did not like this as it was apparently to straining on the eyes...
Production Company Edits NOT FINISHED VERSION
We Started Our Production company Logo thinking our production company would be called
PINECONE PRODUCTIONS
I was tasked with creating the production company and title sequence. As you can see my first draft below was OK... I Followed a tutorial on YouTube to replicate the neon effect text. It was a hard task as i had not used Photoshop that much for text before.
