Editing Process

Sound

The Soundtrack for our film was taken from the 2015 blockbuster film MadMax Fury Road, We used the initial soundtrack as it enhanced the drama and suspense throughout the film opening. Me and my group sat for hours in order to find the right song. The MadMax soundtrack adds strong base and adds to the intense opening scene. We used Adobe Premiere to manipulate the soundtrack to our advantage. We downloaded certain sound effects such as the gun shots and the gun reloading to also enhance the sound effects of our movie. We added different sounds on top of our original unchanged soundtrack to get our final piece. We also downloaded certain sound effects of cars revving and driving.

Below is the original and un-editied soundtrack of our movie.

Editing

We Used Adobe Premiere to edit our movie opening as it offered more options than IMovie, although IMovie was simpler to use. We primarily used Adobe Premiere to edit although we used IMovie as well. As you can see Premiere allows us to manipulate our project Much more. We were able to edit sound by using the built in editing software in the Adobe Package.
