MAD MAX TEXTUAL ANALYSIS
The Genre/hybrid genre: is Action/Thriller/Post Apocalyptic, the overall movie is very strange to watch due to the fact that the entire concept of the movie is a strange and creepy thought. The opening scene its self is all about match on action as it shows `mad `max driving, crashing, being caught, tortured and almost escaping very fluently due to continuos editing. The Narrative: Its non linear, its very broken and fragmented throughout the movie to reflect on the broken and fragmented idea behind the movie.
The Location of the movie is mainly shot in the desert. The opening scene shows this very well and the first scene you see is mad max driving away from the bandits in his car and unfortunately getting caught. The vechiles mailny consist of Dirt Bikes, Quadbikes and customized off-road cars. Such as a Beetle
Characters: Mad Max is the lead character and represents goodness and freedom although he rarely speaks but the rest of the characters are bald albino suicidal thugs, and are ordered by a lead albino fat thug with hair.
Voice Over: Mad Max is explaining his situation in an low raspy voice almost creepy.
Pacing: The pace is very fast to enhance the effect of fast moving which is linked to the cars.

On-screen graphics/captions: The font is metal to represent the cars and has blood on it to represent danger, death and even murder. The text first says Mad Max after a dramatic impact but maybe 3 seconds later the text goes up in flames and Fury Road appears as Molten Metal infant of the text.
Editing & post production (can include special effects): Fast cuts are used throughout the movie to create a fast paced movie which links the cars.
Music and other sound effects: Deep Bass to add drama and build ups throughout the movie
Camerawork: The camera moves very fast to keep up with the cars, loads of long shots to show the entire chase scene, the camera is on a crane/drone to show arial shots of the cars.
