Introduction

Hello my name is Jack Murphy, My chosen coursework task is a Film Opening for my preliminary task I chose to do a Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule. For my Main Task I have chosen to do a 2 minute film opening. Our initial idea is to do a film opening similar to the film Mad Max Fury Road. We are filming in the desert to almost replicate the Mad Max opening scene and location. We are going to rent quads, motorbikes and a buggy to replicate yet again the off road cars used in the movie.
